Built in the 20s and 30s, these cabins were originally used by rangers. Some have electricity, all have either wood or electric stoves for cooking and heating, and none have indoor plumbing. Some of the cabins are accessible by car while others require that you hike, horseback ride, ski, or snowmobile in to them.

Visitors can make reservations up to 180 days in advance. Call 1-877-444-6777 or reserve cabins on www.reserveamerica.com.

Cabins cost between $20 to $50/night (depending on the cabin) and a small fee will be charged for each reservation.
