The mountains and rivers surrounding Bozeman have formed several canyons - Bear Canyon, Gallatin River Canyon, Beartrap Canyon, and Hyalite Canyon. All of which provide many and varied opportunities for outdoor recreation to include hiking, biking, fishing, climbing and white water rafting.
