- Battle Ridge Campground – Twenty-two miles north of Bozeman, this campground has 13 sites, toilets, water, and is open Memorial Day-Labor Day. It is located in the Bridger Mountains.
- Chisholm Campground – Eighteen miles south of Bozeman, this campground has 10 sites, 45ft RV limit, toilets, water, and is open May-Sept. It is a wonderful location for canoeing, hiking, fishing and mountain biking.
- Fairy Lake Campground – Located approximately thirty miles northwest of Bozeman, this campground has 9 sites, toilets, water, and is open July-Sept. Fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing are great activities in this area.
- Greek Creek Campground – Just 31 miles south of Bozeman, this campground has14 sites, 60ft RV limit, toilets, water, and is open May-Sept. Whitewater rafting, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and ATV riding are fun activities at this site.
- Hood Creek Campground – Seventeen miles south of Bozeman, Hood Creek Campground has 18 sites, 50ft 18 sites, 50ft RV limit, toilets, water, and is open May-Sept. This is a good base for fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
- Langhor Campground – Just eleven miles south of Bozeman, this camping area has 9 sites, 30ft RV limit, toilets, water, and is open from May-Sept. It is a good location for hiking, fishing, mountains biking and off-roading.
- Moose Creek Flat Campground – Drive just 32 miles south of Bozeman and you will reach this campground that has 13 sites, 60ft RV limit, toilets, and is open May-Sept. There is trailhead access here to the Wilderness area, plus fine fishing, and mountain biking.
- Red Cliff Campground – Forty-eight miles south of Bozeman is Red Cliff Campground, which has 63 sites, 50ft RV limit, toilets, water, and is open May-Sept. Rafting, kayaking, fishing and hiking are all favorite activities here.
- Spire Rock Campground – Located 26 miles southeast of Bozeman, this campground has 16 sites, 50ft RV limit, toilets, and is open May-Sept. Fishing, hiking and kayaking can all be enjoyed close to this campground.
