When you are concentrating your travel in the southwestern part of Montana, there's a must-see on your trip – Three Forks. This exciting western town is between Glacier National Park to the north and Yellowstone to the south. And the scenic lands between are something to behold, not to mention all the activities you can enjoy.
Three Forks is so named as three rivers converge here, making for some fabulous fishing and rafting. These headwaters provide some great trout. And if you love golf, you'll find a great public golf course that has a backdrop of scenic vistas. Every year in the spring, Three Forks presents a horse roundup in which everyone can participate. Get several hundred head back to their summer home, via Main Street in Three Forks. Once you are back home, there are more activities lasting into the night, including music and dancing. What a great place to visit and have a memorable vacation!
